Well, my wonderful local library's only copy of the book I wanted is lost. I was going to start the Big Book Read with this particular book, but I may have to wait until it is located (or I buy it myself). So, I am instead going to start with book #2 on my list. Luckily, it is just as appropriate as book #1 for the start of the challenge.

Big Book Read 2010
The Big Book Read begins January 1, 2010!
Our objective: To read 52 books in 52 weeks.
Our books: Any genre (yay!). Just keep it to at least 200 pages.
Our reviews: Reviews will be a minimum of three paragraphs. Please try to keep spoilers to a minimum.
The Prize: The satisfaction of reading 52 books! And a lovely certificate created by me to commemorate the event.
